    We followed the River Garonne for about 60 km to Donzac. Along the way, we passed through Auvillar. A magnificent church and a truly pretty town. We are now passing through a fruit growing area.     ... clear. I went in and out of a few little shops and took photos of things that took my fancy. Along the Main Street I found the Buttercross which dates back to the early 15th century. It was restored in 1865 and has a tall many pinnacled cross and five octagonal steps. It was once used by country men to sell produce, hence the name, Butter Cross.     ... year. I am now headed to Dublin for a bit of a holiday before going to Glasgow to see my cousins and meet up with some of my friends. I'll continue to make my way north to see my Grandad in the Orkneys. Hopefully I'll find another job along the way to support my ability to stay here in the UK.
