Long day of travelling today. Set off around 10. Travelled thru Belgium & the Netherlands before arriving in Germany. Only 3 stops required ('mum I need a wee, dad I need a poo, We're HUNGRY!!'). Went out for tea at the campsite across the roads' restaurant and got soaked in a thunder storm. Looking forward to a busy day at Playmobile land tomorrow. ... old rebuilt part of Frankfurt. The city was pretty much obliterated during the Second World War and to find any old remnants of what it might have been like was definitely a surprise! Steffie told me that the square is also where they had the 2006 World Cup reception, which would have been packed!

... 4 hours by train. Once again it's an ICE which is a very comfortable ride and we get to speeds of 250km per hour. We pass corm and wheat fields as well as wind turbines and it's flat for the journey which passes quickly while we watch a movie and read books.
