... horrific ones too. There is an English theatre, it's closed at the moment but outside is a cupboard with novels in and on it a sign saying that they are free to take. ... Due to a bad accident on the autobahn (highway) we were stuck in traffic for close to an hour, and therefore missed our cruise slot. By the time we arrived, the next cruise was boarding. So, we were able to take that sailing. It was a beautiful cruise down past castles, vineyards and small towns and villages along the way. The cruise lasted over an hour, at which time we disembarked in St. Goar, where our motor coach had driven up to meet us.

Frankfurt is commonly referred to as the Financial capital of Europe, due to the EU Currency Exchange being located there, and this tends to overshadow the rich history and traditions of the city. Including the metropolitan area and the inner suburbs, Frankfurt is the second largest city in Germany and was one of the front runners for being the new capital after the Second War, as they refer to it here.
