    From Symi, we took the ferry to Leros, another island but bigger than Symi. Unexpectedly we were picked up from the ferry port and taken to the hotel.     ... 30 nm trip to Sögüt with a navigational hazard on the way. The charts assure us that there is an "isolated danger" buoy over it, however the guides tell us that the buoy might be there or it might not!!     ... thinks it is the well-covered riots in Izmir in late June which would have put people off, whereas I think when the UK school holidays start (pretty much today) there will be an influx. This place is pretty heavily frequented by German, Dutch and other European tourists already, but the 'package tour Poms' would completely ruin it for us.
