    ... the boat in time for drinkies and a very good music selection. Thanks Mick, the outdoor speakers are working beautifully! Ken grilled the fish to perfection and decided to make up his bed on the nets - no bugs!

    ... Lupita struggled with her English! We kept Kathe busy interpreting!! The pizza was wonderful!!

    At Maricasa, I had an entire apt. to myself. It's so beautiful and peaceful here. No honking cars, big trucks, barking dogs, not even roosters! I woke up on my birthday to the sounds of the birds! I'm enjoying the chilled out atmosphere on my birthday. I'm enjoying visiting with Kathe and Bonnie, strolling around the property, and, just being here!

    ... which is just outside Belize city. All was well on the dirt road. Then we hit Tar...I swear it was a roller coaster ride. Caribbean people are the calmest, slowest people. Until....you put them behind a wheel of a car, on tar. We didn't die and we managed to catch the bus, there and then in Ladyville, heading to the main bus stop in Belize City. A water taxi was between the bus stop and Caye Caulker.
