      ... which is just outside Belize city. All was well on the dirt road. Then we hit Tar...I swear it was a roller coaster ride. Caribbean people are the calmest, slowest people. put them behind a wheel of a car, on tar. We didn't die and we managed to catch the bus, there and then in Ladyville, heading to the main bus stop in Belize City. A water taxi was between the bus stop and Caye Caulker.

      Couple of things about the town of Orange Walk. First of all, I have no idea why it is called Orange Walk. Although oddly enough there is one of those American-style marching band schools up the main street!
