      ... was chicken ratatouille and we had a chocolate mousse for dessert. The restaurant we dined at had magnificent views of Monaco and I've attached some of the photos from there.       ... hill that housed the original settlement on another and a river that is now covered over on the third side. Here the houses and buildings are 100's of years old. There are colourful markets including a famous flower market. There are numerous churches and many many many places to eat.

      ... get 4 shuttles down to the tram stop. As usually happens with such a big group we inevitably all split up but knew to meet at the bust stop for our trip to Eze Village, a mountainside village that had medieval architecture and amazing views of the bays of nice. First though we wandered around the cobbled streets of Old Town nice. There were the standard ancient structures but also a good deal of modern art sculpture which made for an interesting feel.       ... chill to it - time to head
      back to Menton.

      All in all, the French Riviera is
      not a place I would hurry back to. nor is it a place i would recommend
      to fellow travelers. There are far more interesting places to go to than
      here.

      PS: Arrived back at the hotel. Checked with reception - guess what - STILL NO SIGN OF OUR MISSING LUGGAGE!!!!!! A quick check with Gemeva airport reveals that the ...
