... off early in the morning I got two new room mates. These guys were truly rad dudes from the States and I wished they had turned up the night before! We sat in the room chatting for about an hour or so and it was really great to talk to people and laugh with them. They were called Jason and Mason. I kid you not! They invited me out with them that night but regretfully I had to decline and get ready to head off for my flight in the morning. Next time guys! It's a small world after all.

      Next stop, El Salvador!

Made it to Miami Yay, two days after I left Hobart I've finally arrived at my destination! Of course, the beautiful, arty hotel I'd booked at South Beach, Miami (complete with meal package and a night planned at the famous Mango Club) had to be cancelled (nonrefundable) in lieu of an evening of disappointment near Melbourne airport - but that's all part of travelling. Finally at the Port of Miami, checked my now colourless black suitcase in, and waited ...

What's the next 3.5 months of travel all about?

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you
choose? My head was spinning like a globe to find the answer.

      The answer is complicated.

      It’s hard to describe.

The short answer - Hawaii and New Zealand.

The long answer – it’s all in a question.

... t finish a day in a Disney theme park without a spectacular light and fireworks display.

There was so much to do in Florida we barely scratched the surface at any of the places we visited. We were certainly glad to be back in an English speaking country and not worrying about the food or the drinking water. Everywhere we went the people were exceptionally friendly. But there's more of the U.S.A to explore so we're off to Chicago!

... it was a great day, save the fact that Joe and Mel missed their connection from Helena to Denver. It seems that their plane left an hour early. The result was that they were routed through Washington D.C., Dulles Airport, and didn't arrive in Miami until about eight thirty. We'll pick them up at their hotel in the morning for visit to the Miami Zoo.

That's it for now. Pics will be on Flickr. You did Bookmark the page, I'm ...
