Twelve long hours later...

... it got to about 2pm in Adelaide, I started feeling really ****. I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore so I got an hour's shuteye. When I awoke, I felt even worse but that soon passed. The nap made me feel a bit more awake. Or at least awake enough to feel like I could last the rest of the trip.

Watched more movies and some episodes of Vikings. But the flight really dragged on. Even though ...

... is "famous" as the Herbig Family Tree. It's a large hollow gum tree that apparently provided a home for the Herbig Family until 1860 ... we were so numb to Ian's chatter that we barely paid any attention to what he was saying about it. I do recall him saying something about them living there for several YEARS while they had children. I gather they moved into a real house before child number 16, but I don't remember exactly ...

... really happy to get back to Jenni. A real house with a host mama who was waiting for me. They call dinner 'tea': "in an hour it's time for tea". I got confused the first time haha. ... a #2 from the vietnamese shop and for Donna her favourite bibimbap. Robyn had a #2 as well along with Harrison and Mitchell who shared one, with Harrison just having the noodles. Smiles all round except for Donna, whose meal wasn't the same as it used to be when it was served in a hot stone bowl, so she felt a little bit disappointed.
