      ... for second time on this voyage and just came back from Restaurant. Irish coffee's, soup and salad. Our lil' heater hooked up to shore power has not let us down. Its 55 but seems colder.       ... bridge tender called us on 09 VHF and said that traffic was light and he'd be happy to let us pass! Of course, we were thrilled to accept his considerate offer. For any bridge -- and especially this one, with a nasty reputation for its sometimes surly operators -- such considerations are rare. Thank you, kind sir! (Tip of the hat)
