The day starts early again. A car picks me up at 6.15 for the trip to St Pancras Station to board the 7:35 Eurostar to Paris. The train trip is delightfully uneventful and we ease into Paris Nord right on time. I find my hotel and leave my bag at reception.

Another glorious day in Paris. The sun was shining... a lot!! 30 degrees forecast and no sea breeze to make it pleasant. I discovered that although my hotel is brilliantly located it does have a bit of a noise problem. They seem to have these monstrous machines to clean the cobblestones... at 6am... not happy.
