... for all over town. As a geologist, I picked the Yamanashi Gem Museum. It was another waste of money. The exhibit was not anything unique to the area and was a let down compared to many other free exhibits I have seen. Oh well. I then walked over the bring, enjoyed the sunset over Lake Kawaguchiko and enjoyed a nice walk around the lake.
The day ended with me trying to figure out how to get back to my hotel. I met a random American girl ...

... think we'll be better prepared to make the big climb. It was great to visit Fuji-San even if the day was less than perfect. And as soon as we got home, I googled fixes for my phone and rebooted it in less than a minute--everything intact. I tried not to kill Mike when he suddenly remembered he knew how to do that. I was only planning on writing about our trip yesterday, but then something happened this afternoon. I took Will to base for a USO Sesame Street show. We ...

... sardine tin, so we struggled to sleep well at all. No water supply there. Dinner was served at 4pm then made to go to bunk beds to make space for people arriving later to have their dinner. Tried to go to sleep around 6:30pm. Wake up call was at 2am to hike the rest of the way to the summit for sunrise. We were determined not to get stuck in the queue of people going up to the summit so left before the rush at 1am. We totally missed all the crowds and made it to the summit in good ...
