... which was a bit quiet that morning. After that back with a lot of tourists and the tourist tracks (pop rice, fruit juice fabrication, etc...). We arrived in Saigon in the evening. Sylvie had just the time to drink a beer and then direction airport for her flight. 2 weeks are always short !
I spent 2 other days in Saigon, visited some pagodas and first of all made a cooking class ! I can know cook vietnamese dishes!

And although officially a communist country, an unsuspecting visitor to the city may think otherwise. Generally people own their own property and vehicles (mostly mopeds as car tax is set at 200% the cost of the car). ... 20km south so we headed out in a taxi, swam for about 10 minuted before we spotted the first jellyfish and scampered out. Enjoyed a relaxing read/drink in deck chairs, and watching local boys play an awesome sport we hadn't seen before. Beach volleyball but with no hands. Pass the ball with soccer moves - kicking, kneeing and heading - including the overhead scissor kicks! Play at home. Vocceyball???

Saigon, an iconic city who´s name conjures images in the mind of a hot, humid and bustling city, all of which are very true. Whilst in the city I caugfht up with some friends, visited the various Vietnam war museums, and took a tour of the Cu Chi tunnels.
