Awoke hoping this lurgy has buggered off, no such luck. Karen and I strolled across to Buffalo Bills Casino and had brekky in Dennys (dont worry about counting how many Dennys as it is probably more than I have mentioned in these blogs). Brekky consumed, Karen disappeared into the Premium Outlets and I headed back to the room, 37C at 9am so going …
We just spent day eight lazing around. The girls spent a lot of time at the factory outlets and got some great bargains. Day nine we headed to Laughlin and then Hoover Dam. Laughlin had some riverfest on where there were thousands of people floating down the river on many different inflatable flotation devices. It was that crowded it wasn't even …
There have only been a couple of occasions on the trip when I thought we might have to call it a day and hail down a truck to drive us on. Today we reached a point where I thought we would not be able to cycle on. The ride out of Baker which is nestled in Death Valley really took us to our limits but we made it and we are 108 miles closer to home.< …
We had been heading this way to drive through Barstow (tipping our hats to Hunter S Thompson as we pass - "We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold") and follow fear and loathing up to Vegas (without the suitcase however). But as we peruse the free map in the hotel other plans take shape and the …

Historical Traveler Reviews Primm Valley Resort & Casino
My Wife And I Just stayed at primm valley resort for one night fri the 17th. It was a great experience. I could not disagree with the last reviewer more. Yes the room was basic but it was clean and included coffee ,iron, and hair dryer. The room was very close to the casino action as well as
Golfers and Gamblers have to try this place.
For the money, you cannot beat this place. The rooms were average, but that was to be expected. Besides, who spends alot of time in their rooms. The pool was average also. The walk to the casino can be a long one. The casino was great. Not that crowded and they have low stakes gambling. The golf was fabulous. I went on a golf package with a group of friends and had a great time. I go to Vegas a lot, and it was nice to get away from the crowds and still enjoy a Las Vegas atmosphere.
I really liked Primm Valley
My experience at Primm Valley was much happier than that of the write from Grand Prairie, Texas. I stayed there over Memorial Day weekend and was quite pleased: Good-sized room with a view of the large gardens and swimming pool; a spacious casino with a row of $2-minimum blackjack tables; and quite good food. An oasis in the desert.
Primm is right at the California border and there is no real town. So you can't find a bookstore or a Thai or Indian restaurant. For that you have to drive fifty miles to Las Vegas. But one of the appeals of Primm is that it isn't Vegas.
Second best deal at the border
This is a pretty good property for the price, though for $10 less a night I feel that Buffalo Bill's is nearly as nice and has more to do. The Casino and rooms are tastefully decorated and there is a great outlet mall attached to the casino! This property is best for couples (rooms are the nicest at the border and it has the classiest casino)... if you're taking the kids head over to Buffalo Bills.
Hated the Primm Valley Resort and Casino!!
The hotel was shabby looking (stained carpet and peeling wallpaper) and the cleaning crew did a half-hearted attempt to clean our rooms the 4 days we were there. The ice machines didn't work anywhere on our floor and we had to climb up to another floor just to get ice. We were just not happy with the experience and will definitely stay elsewhere on our next trip!
Primm Valley Casino & Resort offers great prices and good service. I have viisted several times over the past few years and have been very satisfied with everything. The rates of the hotal are extremely reasonable. The hotel staff from mangement to cleaning service were friendly, hard working and always ready to please. The cafe and buffet inside the casino is outstanding. Excellant food at really cheap prices. Breakfast buffet was FREE to hotel guests during the week and the food was incredible. The coffee cafe offered a great breakfast for less than a few dollars. And the staff was always smiling and eager to please. Hotel guests can get coffee or hot tea anytime in the cafe for FREE. The rooms were neat and clean and room service was prompt. And the slots machines in the casino paid off well. We left with more money then we came with. Don't forget to join the Primmadona Players club. Good at Primm Valley, Whiskey Petes and all MGM owned casinos. You can use for room comps, meals or great gifts. Our entire family stayed in Primm last fall and we are returning again this spring. We vistied Whiskey Petes' and Buffalo Bills. Buffalo Bills great activities for kids. Whiskey Petes I had good luck on the slots.
Positives 1-Cheap Room 2-Monorail to the other casinos 3-Had good luck on nickel the slots.
This is a nice place to get away from the hussle and bussle of Las Vegas, but close enough to go and enjoy the "Strip". Rooms were comfortable, clean and priced nice. The monorail system was good and a nice added touch. Buffalo Bills was the best casino, nice atmosphere and friendly. Great place for a family with teens. The rides were a good value, the movie theater was a bit outdated and could use some added value and newer movies. Trying to get drinks at the Primm Hotel and Casino was difficult. We enjoyed everything about the food, drinks and casino at Buffalo Bill's more than any of the others. We had a good time and would go again. For newcomers they could use a map to let you know how to find your way around with the rides, monorail systems and such, but after a day we learned where everything was. It made a nice get away at a good price.
Winning On Slots ... I Love It!
I always play $1 slots at Primm Valley Resort & Casino....I have won a lot there!!! My favorite casino of all.
