    ... about every French city is that there are always so many places you can stop and get a bite to eat or something to drink, grab a seat outside the restaurant and watch people passing by, tourists, locals, students, we’re all living a different life and have the chance to encounter one another in different stages of our lives. It’s pretty neat to think about.

    Pack up at gite as we have to leave today. Goodbye to lovely grandparents, Pirette and Serge and the rest of family at Ecole de Saint Roman. We cannot go too far as Patrick has a dentist appointment for a broken tooth later this afternoon. So Aigues-Mortes again, this time to walk the ramparts. When we arrive we are not allowed to take the dogs with us. Too hot to leave them in the car. Nothing is going right! Sulky lunch then off to dentist. Dentist, ...

    ... and had an hours nap that was well needed! Time to do a bit of studying before a possible evening run. Overheated a bit after my run, a cold shower was a god-send.     ... in the morning, we keep the good teacher (Aurelia) and lose the bad one (Estelle). Means I don't miss any lessons next Friday when I go and see Amandine - very excited for that actually. As it was the Friday of the month, each class did a little karaoke which was rather fun. Still got our song in my head (Prendre ta Douleur - Camille). Had to rush off pretty quickly after that to go to Sète... Decided to go with the school to the fishing village ...
