On the way back to the car we stood in the fountain in the middle of the square it was so good.
Then I was really sad because I wanted to swim at the beach but there were no car parks anywhere so we had to go home as it was tea time and we needed an early night to go for our last dark bike ride in the morning. I was so tired I went straight to sleep
... and had an hours nap that was well needed! Time to do a bit of studying before a possible evening run. Overheated a bit after my run, a cold shower was a god-send. Ate dinner with Fred and talked about the housing market in France and the Bac, now watching a bit of TV but think I might head to bed before Gaëlle even gets back from her work event, very tired today! ... in the morning, we keep the good teacher (Aurelia) and lose the bad one (Estelle). Means I don't miss any lessons next Friday when I go and see Amandine - very excited for that actually. As it was the Friday of the month, each class did a little karaoke which was rather fun. Still got our song in my head (Prendre ta Douleur - Camille). Had to rush off pretty quickly after that to go to Sète... Decided to go with the school to the fishing village ...
Today had been very eventful already! Had breakfast with Sylvia from my room, such a cool girl! She's actually in Paris because she couldn't get into India without a visa, and has travelled/ lived everywhere. Breakfast was so yummy: a roll, croissant and the best granola I've ever had. Really love that hostel, except it's rather expensive at over £30 a night. Checked out and found that Moroccan guy outside the ...
