They did several songs, very nice. And Lars was convinced to do his special version of the Swedish Chef. Annette even made a chef's hat for him. It was a fun evening.
It has been a great week for recharging the batteries, relaxing and filling our tummies with really healthy food.
It is almost two months since I was hanging about in Dorset waiting to get the van fixed, and now I am hanging about in Spain for the same reason. The Truma Boiler company in Germany have appeared to be helpful and efficient and after I contacted them on Friday 13th , the following Monday they shipped the parts out to Spain (I should have known that date wouldn't be auspicious). After that we drove back down through the hills and into Benidorm. It was quite busy compared to most other places since its winter and we walked around the shops there. I've heard its mostly a big party town and there were lots of bars and restaurants there but I think it was too early for all that to start. We got some more hot chocolate and sat out on the street for a while and watched people wandering ...
