... Cyprus trees which are a lot bigger than I imagined. The trunks are about 40cm in diameter. We continued on to Radda in Chianti, which is a lovely town, again built on the hills with majestic panoramas. From here we we to to Montevarchi on roads that were very twisty and windy, the main industry seems to be timber milling as we saw quite a few logs piled up by the road. ... fell asleep. Tired!! This afternoon we made.. 2 versions of panna cotta, SO good although I could only sneak a little taste, 2 marmelades to go with it, one fig and one cherry and apricot. Also several versions of pork scallopine with balsamic, one with lemon, one with prosciutto and Parmesan, and one with parsley garlic and lemon..
