This place was amazing for the price! A great deal that came with breakfast, en suite bathrooms, clean rooms, great customer service, and a nice looking facility, as well.

TRISH (the receptionist) IS THE BEST! :-D

Our flight back to South Afica was changed when we were still at home from a direct flight into a flight via Gaberone with a stopover of about 2 hours which meant that we were going to arrive in Johannesburg after 9 pm. So as it would be a long day, we decided it would be better to skip the morning drive and sleep in again. After breakfast we waited at the walkway along the river for our transport to the airport ...

I will be able to do some voluntary work both in this country and also back in Kenya where I hope to be more involved in both the community library and school in the Aberdare Hills. My commitment to them was that I would go back and help the children to ...

... I am a bit of a fanatical planner, I am busy researching every spare minute I can get! I have found the flights that we want and have found an amazing looking apartment near Las Ramblas in Barcelona for a 5-night stay before the cruise (5 nights because the flight out of South Africa is so much cheaper on the 18 August than on any other day that week!).

So, we are getting organized!

I will keep you posted...
