... Yikes! The doctor did not seem to be overly concerned. He indicated Addy's kidneys are not commonly shaped. She has what you refer to as duplex kidney. In Mama simple language, it just means that each kidney has somewhat of an extra section with it's own tube to her bladder. In certain instances, they are completely non-functioning, which is not a concern unless they are causing problems. We will pray that is the case in ...

Our first stop on the road to South America was an overnight in Dallas, Texas on Spencer's B-day. So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously. We chose a sampler tray of different meat including; beef brisket, chicken jalapeno poppers, spicy sausage, and some beef skewers plus we added corn on the cobb. Everyone's favorite was the beef ...

... with strands and strands of pearls, all different shapes, colors, and sizes. Basically, you pick out what you want and they go through the process of individually knotting each bead and adding clasps. I got Addy and I some matching multicolored bracelets. I also got her tiny pearls necklace and earrings to match. She's too small for them now, but maybe something for when she gets a little older.

... I met Helen, her husband Ken and Patrick. They had decided to do the afternoon train ride, which goes all the way to Fort Worth, including a mock hold-up and a cattle drive. We had a drink then i wandered up the main street. There was a nice historic artisan quarter around the station with a good gallery, a glass blower (some beautiful but expensive glass) and a blacksmith.
