... the activity. Steve and I looked after Aiden while Larissa had a play date. We had a lovely long walk this afternoon enjoying the sun. We stopped for a Starbucks iced coffee. Today was a trip to a State Park about 1 hour's drive north of Coppell. Whilst most of the drive was along freeways we passed through farming country with horse ranches and cattle before entering the park. Ray Roberts Lake State Park has a 29000 acre reservoir supporting many water activities. The weather was nice and sunny but the wind kept it cool - about 16. ... br> Not that keen on a second day at the State Fair we decided to go to the 6th floor museum at Dealey Plaza to see the place where JFK was assassinated. This building has since been turned into a museum and was really well done. I don't think either Vaughan or myself appreciated how much JFK had accomplished during his term. It was really interesting and well worth going to see.

... Art gallery. Just a standard city, business like in the day. We visited the JFK memorial and learnt about his effect on the country and the devastating assassination. The art gallery nearby was free so we had a look, it was pretty average but I'm sure others would appreciate the work.
