... hired a motor scooter now to get around town. I'll go back to the marina tomorrow to look at another boat.

The area is quite different to I imagined; not that I can think now what I imagined. The first thing that struck me driving in the bus from the Dalaman airport to Marmaris, is how quiet it is (especially after Asia). The towns, roads etc. were empty of people. The countryside is ...

A most hilarious evening last night, with David Copperfield's new show and a bit later the crew's International Showtime. Several of the crew performed solo numbers and were not only game getting up to perform in front of a couple of hundred people but were surprisingly good! The island of Rhodes is another big tourist attraction with many beach resorts and hotels. I was told tourist season has another 2 weeks and then everything closes. The weather has been great, sunny in the mid 20's. This is a good time of year to go, perhaps not as crowded and not as hot.

We went to the village of Lindos a typical island village with whitewashed houses and narrow winding ...

All in all I hugely enjoyed my time spent in Mugla. It is a small city with no tourists, however this gives you the chance to really explore the Turkish culture.

I would definitely recommend CSV; it gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world including Taiwan, Korea and from all over Europe.
