Ancone et ferry pour la Grece
... visitais Ancone (pas tres vivante en ce jour ferie).
Je suis montee dans le ferry a bord de son camion, et personne n'a controle mon billet (pour une fois que je payais mon trajet...).
Depart d'Ancone vers 19:00. Tres peu de passagers compare a un mois d'aout, presque personne sur le pont superieur (11e niveau). Ferry tout confort et rutilant, avec boutiques, casino, restaurants, lounges, thalasso, playground pour les enfants...

UNEXPECTED:
It was much colder than we thought. Perhaps because of this or just seasonally, virtually ALL the hotels were shut down (we only found 3 that were open in a 2km stretch of beachfront). No Autostrada...No Tolls
We left Venice this morning for a drive down the Adriatic Coast for an overnight stay in Pesaro. We avoided the Autostrada today to see a little bit more of the countryside. ... are now no early ferries - great. The ferry does not leave until the evening so we have a long day ahead of us, hoping to skype home and do some washing finally. Decide we will sleep at the train station, well what an experience sharing the waiting room with the homeless, the station is appalling, dirty, run down, graffiti everywhere but plenty of police presence in fact waking up all the homeless and checking their id's.
