      ... for doubting him. Oops.

      Dietrich and I did the wandering thing again, this time only for 2 hours from 7 until 9 AM. We slept all day once we found a place, ate hot dogs when we woke up, and bought phone chargers.

      I bought some apples and Limón Soda too.

      We went to sleep and got on a bus to Pucón the next morning. That's all I have to say about that.

      After squatting our way through a particularly low section of ceiling we walked back up the drift to daylight.
      Back in Concepcion, the streets were busy. On the main square there were statues to Pedro de Valdivia and Lautoro, who killed him - in diametrically opposed corners.
      Though there were places to eat, most offered pizza and pasta so we opted to eat Mexican at the flat.

      ... checked out and thanked Nancy, the owner, for hospitality. Heading back down to the Central Valley, the roads were remarkable quiet - just the odd pothole and suicidal dogs. Having stopped for petrol and directions in Chillan, we headed down to the coast on almost empty roads.

      ... flew out from Concepcion yesterday and Emma joined us. Suprise suprise she is also bagless! I am therefore at home once again today waiting for bags to arrive.
