    ... We were very impressed with the dedication to Rossi - there were numerous posters and other memorabilia to look at, menus with Rossi symbols, 46 chips on sale and even Kerrie's coffee came decorated with the famous 46. The only thing we couldn't find was a postcard to send!

    ... even a display of Mutoids all over the area - looked like the extras from a film set.

    After wandering around for a couple of hours and some lunch we got back on the bike and headed back to our hotel. This time we stuck to the country roads where Greg says the countryside is prettier than Tuscany - I couldn't agree!

    ... very first Italian translation of Dante's Divine Comedy.

    After our library visit we toured some historical landmarks, viewing more art at each of eight locations. By and large, these were mosaics, which I'd never even heard of prior to my travels. They were magnificent.

    ... to cook a meal for us. But we always had a choice of one dish – first day was Greek spaghetti (??) and the next day, they had some fresh octopus for Nick and they cooked me a piece of chicken. We had fried potatoes with every meal. In this particular restaurant, the host was in his late 80’s and never moved quickly. He spoke very little English and we speak no Greek, but we managed to work things out.
