... the lady in the ticket office asked me what time I wanted to come and we agreed 9.30am. Then she asked me to write my name on a scrap of paper then gave me what I thought was a ticket in return. When I went to pay she said no, you bring this receipt with you tomorrow at 9am and don’t be late! Then you can pay and we will give you a ticket! I passed the rest of the day by walking along a fabulous coast path to the Cap de Creus, a rocky headland which Dali used ...

... onto the route we were to climb we saw a sign saying road closed in 900 metres. We cycled the 900 and found nothing so kept going into a fairly steep climb. Just before reaching the top at 900 metres we met a guy erecting a sign which prohibited cyclists or walkers. Since he had not yet put the sign up, I asked him if he could look the other way, and we would go through, to which he replied that it ...

It wasn't until the early 1900's and carbon dating that the true age of the paintings were determined.

... according to the sign offered less than the 14% grade I was anticipating. In retrospect, I think the sign refers to the maximum grade over any kilometre, rather than maximum grade for any shorter distance, because for the first time I was going slow enough that flies became a problem, something I have heard others complain off but heretofore haven't experienced. The bottom of the ascent is ...

... good so we all agreed. The innkeeper asked us if we wouldn't mind making our choices early so that they could start preparing and we had no problem with that. Once we sat down at 7:45pm, the food came from the kicthen quickly. I had the refreshing seafood salad, the delicious white fish main course, and one hell of a nice chocolate mousse cake for dessert. We ate outside on the patio; it was a gorgeous evening. And we wrapped up by about ...
