NORWAY: Nothing to do...Why not travel?

A travel blog entry by brookealexandra on Oct 24, 2014

Since I am still impatiently waiting to start school, have already deep cleaned the apartment (more than once), and can't really find work for such a short period of time, my level of boredom has reached levels I previously thought impossible. Whether stemming from this boredom or in trying to find a feasible solution to my problem, I began …

... find anything to watch and ended up watching the news
but it was still neat to watch French television and see how much we
      understood.

We had a pretty calm day in Toulouse, just went for a walk
around the town, took pics, saw some churches, had a picnic and then went to
      the movie theatre.

Toulouse is a university city. The Uni is just next to the
downtown area, so there were tons of students my age around. Our picnic in the
      park was great, we ...

Luckily the restaurant here is excellent. So I walked to Market Victor Hugo, where the locals do their food shopping. The seafood displays were amazing - I have never seen so many scallops and ...

We left Dublin to catch a late morning flight, 1hr50min to Toulouse. There wasn't much of the day left after checking into the apartment, so we went for a walk to the nearby shops to have a bagette for a late lunch, picked up some groceries and then did a few chores like washing. We explored the main sights in Toulouse the next day, and were really impressed by the Musee Des Augustins. This was a monastery from 14th and 15th centuries and a museum since 1793. It includes 4000 works, ...

Our last day on the boat. We made excellent progress, ate omelets and sandwiches on the boat, and arrived at the port of Argens at 3:30. We walked around the town for awhile, then had hors-d'oeuvres on the boat: smoked salmon, cheese and bread. We ate a light supper at an outdoor café next to the port, then ...
