Hugely misty this morning. Getting out of Nantes was a bit of a nightmare as Snooper froze again. I suppose that she wasn't getting a good gps signal with all the trees. A sleep-in until 8.30 stated the day , with the usual home made jams ,croissants , joghurt ,etc in the lovely walled garden, followed a very pleasant pursuit of the owners black Labrador which escaped just as we were leaving , the ******* . A sense of conscience made us chase the bloody dog , which thoroughly enjoyed the chase over a main road as far as the beach , anyway Ali caught him and the final return was being dragged home by the owner. ... trip, never mind actually packing it and bringing it home! Anyway, the whole thing was great fun.

I went with the Magnificent Seven afterwards for a picnic dinner by the river. One couple had bought grapes, a container of olives and peppers, apples, brie, crackers, Boursin, two baguettes, and wine. It was pretty good stuff and a nice setting. It got dark pretty quickly but it was a warm evening.

Tomorrow's going to be a long bus day. Oy.

We left at 9.05 and drove the 93 miles through not very nice weather, arriving at 11.40. Luckily we got on to Pitch H02 which is near the toilet block but also the pool and restaurant.
