I decide to give Nimes a go and head off for the town centre. I need the post office for some money, I also decide to find the tourist information office as nothing seems to stand out as an obvious attraction. Having got a leaflet from the tourist office I decided the best thing to do here is be a tourist and I follow the town walk which takes in several Roman ruins, including a huge arena built for all that gladiatorial stuff and now used for the Nimes obsession ...
