Fun with the horses & herb garden
... herb farm, where a husband and wife who are both biology professors have ten acres with four ponds, horses, a working donkey, and grow their own herbs and sell them to restaurants and pharmaceutical companies. It was very educational ~ we learned about edible flowers, how to grow saffron, etc.
We came back to MC house and she made some churros (we used to eat them a lot in Spain)

Winery & Christian LaCroix exhibit
... exhibit ~ a world famous designer who had his beautiful costumes on display from the Paris Ballet and Opera.
Afterwards we had some crepes.
Now Philippe is cooking dinner ~ ravioli, duck, and assorted mushrooms.
We are having a really fun time and are being treated like royalty by Philippe's family.
We will stay here another day then Wednesday morning head out for the South of France for a week.

Sunday in Moulins
Today after the lunch we go to the City Market for the afternoon. Afterwards we went to the house we rented for the remainder of our stay, it is 250 years old, it was just remodeled last year. It has two bedrooms, a nice kitchen, bathroom, and nice courtyard outside off the kitchen. It is right in the center of town and we can walk two minutes to be at the shops, bakery, etc.

... out onto a small courtyard where there were a few trees hanging with bird feeders. There were some beautiful greenfinches, tits and other sundries flashing about which was good to see.
This morning, a troop of self important Lions turned up for some national do.
Nick was not impressed at all, even though one of them declared himself to be the district governor, according to the sticker on his back windscreen.
