... at the local betting shop/bar we we're put in touch with a chamber d'hôtel with vacancies for 4 cyclists and two tandems. Sadly they weren't serving evening meals so we had to find a restaurant to eat before coping with our night at the chamber. I can report we have survived the meal and are now just off to bed after shower. Roll on tomorrow. Ps today's wildlife find was 4 deer. Sleep we'll folks, more news ...

The highlight was a stop at a restaurant for a 3 course meal, languatines, sea bass and rum baba - yum yum. A couple of days to La Rochelle ...

A chilly night tested our new sleeping bags. After a chilly breakfast we have enjoyed 46 miles by the sea I through very varied landscape - marshes (marias) with loads of oyster beds and shrimping nets suspended from raised sheds by drainage ditches - then sand dunes - and long seaside beaches to St Hilaire. Eventually found open campsite and now preparing supper. Bon ...

... an 'Aire pour camping cars' overlooking the sea at St Pol de Leon, as recommended by some folk at my last site. And it's impossible to take photos while driving so none today! Oh yes there is. Last night'ssimple supper. As usual they don't let being a campsite cramp their flair. Fantastic 2 courses and wine. Cost? Of course It did. You asked that silly question a week or so ago! See you tomorrow. Bonne ...
