... we got off the bus, we walked out to Marien Brüke. Man, was it up high! Adrienne said the view from das brüke was magnificent. The hard part was getting in the bridge and walking across. We knew that all four of us had to do it. The bridge already had about 100 people on it. So squeezing through was also necessary. The nervous forsome started out, getting camera ready and trying to hold on! The individual boards on the brüke would ...

... stop, and found it to be very refreshing. Our hotels have been mostly, really nice, a couple of mediocre ones, one bad one, and one unique farmhouse experience. All in all its been amazing, and I couldn't have had a more easy going, loveable travelling companion. It has been great fun, and we would thoroughly recommend this type of travel to anyone. We have locked our bikes in the bike racks at the airport, along with 50 or 60 others, and we ...

We didn't have a great start again, as we rode for about 15 mins through the city and ended up back where we started. Take 2, then there were roadworks and our path was barricaded off, so we had to do a detour up around the industrial section of town. We thought we had a relatively easy day of 64 kms, but two more detours later, and by the time we …

... in farmers fields. The other strange feature here are the lakes and ponds. This region has over 1,000 of them. Black brackish holes some with boating, fishing and some with gorgeous houses built next to them. We saw an amazing one at la Mer. Two lakes and a sunken swimming pool, mill wheel and landscaped gardens. I was so in ore I forgot to get my camera out. In fact I forgot it most of the ride. It's a very relaxed and quite area of France most have forgotten about. This ...

... bicycles. However we've had enough of the bikes for today, so we have set off on foot. Well we explored MONTBELIARD, and it didn't really take very long; nice parks, nice shopping area, an old chateau, and some nice boats moored at the harbour, but that's about all. John thinks that this would be like going to Wendouree for a holiday. Still, we are really just in transit, and not every town we stop at is going to be great. We have liked most places, with DIGOIN and this ...
