    ... guide in the US could NEVER talk like that, they'd be sued for discrimination or defamation!

    Yesterday we we arrived at the boat, spotty wifi, this morning we sailed to Lyon, so the connection is much more reliable. We leave for a tour of Lyon (headquarters of Interpol, BTW) in 15 mins, so this entry will be short. I'll work on getting the pics uploaded to the iPad; more later!

    ... on a train, huddling in a corner if there are no seats, and hoping the conductor doesn't discover I'm one of the non-allotted railpass holders. Still, I eventually get to Lyon. The hostel is pretty nice (and has amazing views of the city). I guess wifi only works in common room so this'll post tomorrow morning.
