... and some unexpected discoveries of
war graves and memorials. Cover some of the Tour De France Route
      - traditionally on two wheels albeit motorised. Visit into Munster
town and can see the stork nests all around and then we go back over
La Route Des Cretes for an ealy evening ride - not many roads we have not touched here now.

Early start from Berwang and a diversion to see Neuschwanstein Castle, used in the filming of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, glad we do not queue but get a few pictures and then off on some more well planned roads from John.

but decided to keep heading south, through Nancy and on to the Ballons des
Vosges National Park. Good choice. Ended up at Camping les Jonquilles, with ...

The girls are an impressive pack of 3, Cece is certainly one of them now - no longer a baby, they are a 3. It's been really nice making up for lost time with her, she's fab - Scarlett has matured and is sensible and responsible - great qualities to have, and Gen has matured too, more independent than ever now, ...

We left Spain and set off to drive across the French countryside to meet back up with Luke, Kate and the kids and watch the Tour De France. After a long 3 days of driving we eventually arrived in Gerardmer, a ski town during winter that is surrounded by beautiful pines trees, a huge lake and gorgeous French houses. The weather wasn't perfect on arrival, but it didn't stop us from walking up the hill to check out the best position for us to watch the riders come in to ...
