When we were first emailed by the hotel that this event would be on and we wouldn't be able to get near the Menin Gate this evening, I was disappointed, but as luck would have it, we've chanced upon a very special event. ... is the beautiful municipal building, so we stroll over to take a closer look.  The clock tower is spectacular and around the building are well maintained gardens.  Close by there is a park and outside this are obligatory sculptures.   With our impressive but all too brief cultural tour over, it is now beer o'clock.  We give a dodgy looking bar a wide berth and head for "Bar Nondescript".  On entering we are discouraged from sitting at the bar ...
