      ... that was only discovered recently. It was part of the Yorkshire offensive and is currently being restored. We then stopped at a place called Essex Farm. It is the exact location that John McCrae wrote In Flanders Fields. It was in a series of bunkers that were used by the Canadian troops as a hospital.       Ostend, Belguim was a quick 2 night stopover on our way to Amsterdam.

      It had a huge beach and a large esplanade with some cool orange art features.

      It was empty of people and would be one of those places that come alive in summer.

      We did a day trip to the nearby gorgeous city of Bruges.

      ... Theatre. At 10:15 Abbie, one of the assistant cruise directors will instruct a certain type of dance class in the Globe lounge!!! Only on a cruise ship can they make you choose between a church service and line dancing!! They could have merged the two events to avoid having to make a choice. I would pay good money to see a bunch of octogenarians line dance to Shania Twain’s version of Once in Royal David’s City!!
