      Disneyland... here we come!!!

      ... castle with pink roof tiles... it looked stunning we had to take a photo
      of the castle and every decoration. Disneyland was all decorated in
      Halloween and harvest themes.... it was all really nice.

      We finally got to go inside and there were less people and *************e
      lining up. At first we took a photo with Goofy, as soon as the photo was

      We survived the Chunnel train ride, despite fears of it caving in. We arrived in fine form,as the train was quick and efficient. We arrived in Paris in 2.5 hrs at 186 mph. We took a cab to our hotel in an area of Paris, known as St Germaine. Our hotel was really cool, on the upper floor of an old hotel, on Bou St Germaine. It had an elevator that held one person with one large suitcase or toe people only. Very typical for Paris. The room was in the corner, just above ...

      ... lunch in a theatre that was showcasing a youth community band from England, did a few more rides and then hopped the bus back to the resort for a quick swim and supper. Just by coincidence, we ran into Cathy at the bus stop and learned that she had actually spent most of the day at Val d’Europe, a huge shopping centre nearby.

      After supper, we returned to Disney, enjoyed more rides as the sun set and then watched the ‘Disney ...

      Early start to beat the crowd. We got up early and walked to the Musee d' Orsay (about 20 minutes) to be about 50 minutes before opening time, and the line to buy tickets was about 300 m long. Luckily we had bought tickets the day before and our que was only about 20 people. We are amazed at the way art draws crowds. They had a special section on display though, which included Van Gough.       ... 4 per night family run B&B that we were quite looking forward to relaxing in for the first night of our adventure in the Cuban capital.

      Fortunately we had a lot to catch up on, and so made the most of our day in France. We found a Carrefour and a park, and had a lovely picnic of baguette, cheese, crisps and carrots. Let's see if we actually make it to Cuba ...
