... It beat us up. It was rickety, and we missed our Indiana Jones. Then we did Pirates of the Caribbean, which was similar to the classic ride (pre Jack Sparrow), with pirate ships, gold, and wenches. We then went to Alice's Curious Labyrinth (Alice in Wonderland). It was one of our favorites! Instead of a ride, it's a walking maze through high hedges where you run into the different characters of the movie. It was so cool, unique, and creatively designed. We loved it. ...

... stopped for lunch. We had to have Crepes. You can't come to Paris and not have Crepes at some stage. Plus a girls day isn't a girls day without something very bad to eat. We hoped on another train to The pyramids which is at The louvre Palace. We didn't realize how much there was to see here: The Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel: Commemorates Napoleons military victory. This evening we went for a walk to find the train station, unfortunately we turned right when leaving the house instead of turning left and ended up doing a 3km walk to eventually find the station. When we walked home from the station we realised we were actually only 5min away! One wrong turn was all it took!!!!

We survived the Chunnel train ride, despite fears of it caving in. We arrived in fine form,as the train was quick and efficient. We arrived in Paris in 2.5 hrs at 186 mph. We took a cab to our hotel in an area of Paris, known as St Germaine. Our hotel was really cool, on the upper floor of an old hotel, on Bou St Germaine. It had an elevator that held one person with one large suitcase or toe people only. Very typical for Paris. The room was in the corner, just above ...

Off to the Charles de Gaulle airport today, these two weeks have gone too fast. The first shuttle just didn't turn up, so we waited thirty eight minutes for the next one, when it finally came it was packed, but we managed to squeeze on. We had to go to terminal two, we were surprised just how big Charles de Gaulle airport is. We booked in the bag full of goodies, at no extra charge ...
