    Free time for shopping at this huge department shop. Establishes in 1910, it has a stained glass domed ceiling was a bit too expensive for my taste, and too many people . Masses of Asians, all clutching Dior, Chanel bags etc. later we went to Montmartre to check out the fabric markets. Not a lot of patchwork fabric, but the souvenirs were a lot cheaper ...

    ... dessert so they could return to the park for the last chance for rides! My friends and family won't believe it but we walked 22, 654 steps today! That is a little over 9 miles! Now it is time to go to bed. It is payback time. We have wake up call at 5:30 AM, breakfast at 6:00 AM, checking out of our rooms at 6:45 and leaving this hotel by 7:15 ...

    ... healthy. I lost 14 lbs over the last few months, anrd have put a few on,with the bread,sausage, steak and beers. Every meal includes bread, it seems. The first night in Paris I had Lapin, which is rabbit. It is amazing,more like chicken than anything else. It is on most menus, and relatively inexpensive.
