    ... Ferrand without any U turns, just need to get her behind the wheel next ��

    Went for a walk to the old part of Orcet this morning, lots of narrow winding streets no wider than a small car, really quirky with a large church in the centre. Took the dogs for a walk down some leafy lanes, quote a nice stopover and the sunshine certainly helps. We hit Spain tomorrow as we continue South

    Next stop Capmany in Spain, 315 miles. More to follow ...

    ... grass pitches! We had a few cheeky San Migels before hitting the pool to cool off. Tonight we sampled the on site restaurant- si had a steak (looked like horse) and I had chicken- it was really nice and not doing dishes was even better! I washed it all down with a €1.20 glass of rose! Bargain! Few more drinks at the van and an early night the weather is cooler so we should have a good night sleep! Night ...

    ... One of the exits said La Bourboule so we entered that and found a Gite BandB that looked nice. Then we discovered that La Bourboule was miles away, up the top of a mountain. It took ages and we got there at about 7.15pm. The BandB is lovely and the village is really pretty.
    Back In mountain country and back to mountain food. We all ordered saussicon with my favourite blue d'Auvergne cheese. Turns out it was a potato bake with the sausage and cheese through it. ...

    ... I'm happy that the driver got the fault and I'm back on track. He drops me of on a campsite in Gannat. When I look on my map I see that I'm 180 kilometre out from my family and start daydreaming about how great it would be if I could make that tomorrow. There's a Dutch couple on the campsite and later, there's also a Scottish couple coming. I have a nice chat with both couples, very nice ...
