... before, and bought two tickets to float down the Seine! The tower lasted an hour, and it was a really neat way to see the major sights of Paris. We saw all kinds of things...Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, many different bridges (Craig was excited), Invalides (where Napoleon lies), and the list goes on. We also saw some very swanky residential areas of Paris, where a square metre costs about 35,000 Euros...holy cow. Our tour was very relaxing, ...

Well last day in Paris, and it was a early one. We were up early to get to the Louvre before it open at 9am. So a quick breakie at the hotel, and we hit the trains again. We arrive at one of the entrances to the Louvre and use the priority line as it was part of the Paris Pass to get fast entry. So 9am comes, gates home and it is a quick dash to see the Mona Lisa. I heard it was small, and they were right, so after soaking it in for a few minutes, we then ...

... gothic pillars and vaulted ceilings.

When we came outside it was raining in earnest which pretty much put an end to sightseeing. We had a damp plod through the Latin Quarter, and - surprise !! we found a bar to rest our feet and stare at the passers by. We scored a prime spot in the doorway facing out into the street. The sights you see....
