After camping the night beside Dover Castle, we took the ferry from Dover to Calais yesterday morning. Amazing how much cheaper it is to cross the water over here. We had missed the winter rate the motorhome company offer so I got on the internet and we got a return crossing for our motorhome and all of us for 88 ($160). Nick was talking to one of the ferry staff and they said the ferries run 24hours a day and they can do up to 5 crossings in a work shift.
