After a basic but tasty French breakfast, we set off for for our next stop, a town called Vezelay. We enjoyed the rolling countryside and got to Vezelay in good time.
It was a charming little town climbing up to the top of a hill clustered round a huge church. Our hotel was at the bottom of the hill in a charming square. It was all delightful.
