... was when we were at the swimming pool and we went to grab the floaties we had used yesterday for the twinnies and some French woman tried to stop us and was being a bit snooty with Jess and as soon as she realised we were English she didn't want the hassle of dealing with us any longer and she called over a colleague who also couldn't really be bothered but at least he was nice and let us have the floaties. We all had a good swim and now are completely worn ...

... and obviously there would be no point coming to the location of Chocolat without picking up some chocolat as well. Then we went to the only other establishment in town and had a chocolat chaud (café noir pour moi) and we all left town happy. Then we went to our campsite which until late this evening we were the only occupant of. There is a swimming pool next to the site which we have free entry to and since we haven't had a chance for a swim ...

... br> We continued on along the towpath to the Grand Forge de Buffon. This was built in 1768 by George-Louis Leclerc, Count of Buffon. On the river level are the furnace, refinery and foundry and above it lodgings ,gardens and the farm.
it was closed, but we could see most of it.

... very easily. There were 3 other MH's already there. it is by a sports centre and opposite a Hospital. The Aire is flat and open and very well lit at night.
It is about 10-15 mins walk downhill into the town, passing an Intermarche with cheap fuel - very handy.
Semur-en-Auxois is a very pretty town on a deep bend ...
