... my readings. Essentially, I stared at my computer all day and it was awful. I also listened to A Prairie Home Companion online, and it made me feel like it is the weekend back in Minnesota. It was really comforting.
This is actually our last week of classes, believe it or not, and then we start our Independent Study Period.
Hope all is well, and hopefully next time I report I'll have something of greater interest to report on...

The past few days have been pretty much all work. The training is going well but it's far from entertaining. Our teacher is this woman from Germany who I have nicknamed "Das Furher". She is very serious. She has this "You vill lissen to vaht I teach and you vill learn it." type of personality. Actually she's OK once you come to the realization that it's just a cultural thing. Once the top part of the shell is removed, you can take the spoon and begin to eat the egg, by continuing to dig it out of the shell.

We had been so absorbed in working out what to do in Paris, that we weren't really organised for Switzerland. So we were madly reading up and trying to organise what we were doing.

Geneva is a beautiful city with cobble stone streets and old homes, really old churches and statues. I loved it here even though i was here only for a short time. i will go back one day.
oh yeh and I was so nicely surprised that there are so many classy looking chicks in France and Switzerland!!! get there.

After a long day, we did make it to Chur, Switzerland where it took us about 2 seconds to realize why people had said that the country is an expensive place to visit.
