      ... have already dipped into the wine) before crashing. We have a full day of Orientation and then a scavenger hunt tomorrow, so we are starting right into the hustle and bustle.

      It's weird to be here. And weird to think about how this is where I'll be for the next four months. But I'm sure as classes start and I start finding a routine, it will all start to feel quite normal. I just hope I get a little bit better at French...

      ... happy polite well adjusted little people. However there is moments of reality....granddad says that this holiday is costing him 1 a minute, plus miscellaneous expenses (3000) so the family will enjoy themselves. And that's the reality, in a months time our Chalet will cost the occupants 2 a minute, to stay for a week. Yep 120 per hour. Work it out 2 x 60 x 24 x 7. GBP! Its a serious cheque book.

      So what do we do.....wake at 6am, coffee, shower etc and ...

      I am pleased to report that after 13 hours of traveling (2 hours at airport before first flight, 1.5 hour flight, 5 hour layover, 8 hour flight, 1 hour at baggage claim, and a 0.5 hour bus ride), I am officially studying abroad in Geneva! My roommate, Nikki, is delightful and almost as drowsy from jet lag as I am. Our room is outfitted entirely in Ikea furniture/sheets/rolled up pillows.       ... was a level of tension as we had many little steps that needed to all happen smoothly so we could board the plane. First step, find where we needed to park the car at the airport. We left the snow behind as we drove into Switzerland towards Geneva. The GPS co-ordinates got us close to the car park but we were on the wrong side of the fence. We could see it but not get to it.       ... arrived. Talk about the best dorm ever! We had Aleksandra from Russia, Miriam from Guatemala, Alyssa from Canada and another chick from France…and Adam. He was loving the centre of attention. A cheeky kebab run turned us in for the night.
