Tarte Tatin , a French classic was my dessert and very yummy. Later that night we went to three different bars drinking Cointreau, whiskey and dessert wines. The bars were all unique and somewhat historic, one playing vinyl of John Spencer which was Ã¼ber cool.

... a very beautiful Châteaux called Châteaux Chenonceau.
The place is huge with fantastic gardens and out buildings ( they employ 10 full time gardeners) and the châteaux spans the river. It was gorgeous and I loved it. We went through the actual Châteaux which has rooms filled with beautiful fresh flowers and antique furniture and then wandered the gardens and grounds.

... said the garage is full of bikes because there are 25 Americans staying at the hotel. Our sympathy went out the hotel staff, they were busy all evening and the next morning taking care of demands from the large American tour group. We toured the area before dinner and visited the citadel ruins next to the town. Dinner was great, wine was excellent and Helen enjoyed a plate of frog legs for an appetizer.
