... last visit,.. the town was really buzzing. The central market square is alive with restaurants,.. wall to wall! (On our 2006 visit our day in town was a Sunday and, like all of France, the place was like a ghost town.) We rode and walked till 6.30pm. While we are not big into churches, the cathedral in Metz,.. right in the heart of town,.. deserved a visit. WOW! What a building. I have never seen so much stained glass,.. and such an ornate building ...

... what I thought words meant. Oh! Also they dont give you grocery bags, you have to bring your own. and you cant bring the shopping cart out... they think youre going to steal it. I had a struggle with that as I was leaving because I couldnt understand what the lady at register was asking. All I knew was how to say merci haha.

Anyways I finally got to sleep and it was wonderful. Today we get to explore Metz!! So excited!!

The entrance to the center has a wide open space with wooden beds and tables for people to sit. There was this young man, named Nicolas, who was eating an avocado and bread while sitting on one of those tables. ... like that. I didn't understand much that happened. I sat next to two French girls and one told me that it was hard for them to keep up so it was probably really hard for me. Thanks...I think I might be dropping that class. It sucks because it would be useful, but I don't think I can handle that class. The second class was right after the general economy class.
