    ... we headed to the chip shop and bought our delayed lunch. We sat on a bench enjoying the sun, sea and chips. There was also a cyclist doing trick jumps on and off the sea wall to keep us entertained.
    After this we went into the sea for a paddle before walking into town for a drink ahead of the journey home. The sun has stayed with us all day and now we are ready for our evening meal. It has been a fantastic day and fortunately it has been Saltburn not sun ...

    ... of surface quality. The road was well potholed and had a few drops on either side but after a mile or so we reached a junction with a more major road which was nearly wide enough to have white paint down the middle.
    We reached the Abbey safely, dropped off our walking gear and headed off to the main entrance to enjoy a cream tea at the cafe. This was a great treat at the end of our active day.

    ... Neil Longhurst was a Jaffa. I knew he was swinging the ball away from me quite a bit so I knew I had to play straight and not hit across the line, anything that started on the stumps I could leave.     ... Mum felt something on her nose, and the benches started to grow some sort of fingers and began tickling our bottoms! It sounds funny, but if you haven't been there you have no idea how frightening it was!!! I was actually trembling and feeling slightly nauseous when we came out! Never again!     Dejo & I strolled about the area around The Brownlow a bit, first thing in the morning. We enjoyed a full cooked English Breakfast (the first for Jerome & Andrew), and then we had to get on the road.
