I had never heard of Chester until someone said it would be worth spending a day there. As it turned out, on the day I visited Chester a couple of thousand other tourists had the same idea, and probably all took photos of the same sights that I did ( but I bet I was the only one who got a shot of the beer swilling man with a pig's backside ).
Chester has at least three things that distinguish it from most other towns or cities in England.

... the bike bus for our return trip home, it felt a much better/easier bike to ride than mine. So am now riding Roger's bike at the moment, which is the next frame size up to mine.
