      This afternoon I went to the Birmingham Christmas markets with Angus, Becka, Suzannah and Alistair. On arrival we got a cup of mulled wine and a German sausage. This German sausage was 1/2 a metre long and it was delicious! With warm food in our tums we ventured off around the markets. There were so many stalls selling cool stuff. In the afternoon we stop at the picturesque and Assyrian/Christian town of Shaqlawa (at an elevation of 960m), looking back at the Safeen mountains.       ... friends who had just passed us by on their new boat. They moored up and we had a quick catch up as they have to get to Great Haywood this evening. I had given up hope of seeing them as they passed by so it was a real pleasure to meet up. We had intended moving off this afternoon but the weather was very dismal so we got the chimney back out of it's locker and into place on the roof and lit a fire and hibernated.
