Gearbox light in just a couple of times on some climbs but after a cruise it went out. Nice flat pitches although used wooden block under sink to correct levelling. Sat as ever took a little ...

Anyway, we finally got to our hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our evening in Birmingham.

The next morning saw us returning our hire car and taking the 2.5 hour flight to Malaga. We both loved Spain the last time we visited and made sure that it was back on our list of things to do for this time. Warm weather, paella, friendly Spaniards and more golf courses - what is there not to love?

The pastor had a small yellow one with a single row of jingles. Others had more elaborate ones, and the lady next to Hazel had a red one with an extra ring of double jingles and she played it twice as fast as everyone else. After the first two songs, Hazel was asking James about moving a few rows back, but thankfully ...

... meeting wonderful people, I had many amazing meals and have gained many ideas of how to have a happier, healthier, cheaper and greener lifestyle. I've finally given up sugar in my tea and coffee, which I'm pleased about. I haven't given up smoking, but have managed to cut down, and I also reduced my alcohol intake quite considerably.
So, thanks to everybody who contributed to such a wonderful year, and here's to the next 5 months.
