    ... have liked that.

I met Pamela through a house exchange website and even though we've not (yet) exchange houses, we've become firm friends.

A new town for us, and one that is deeply into connectivity, is Stroud.

One of our pet sitting couples recommended Stroud as a nice edgy town, not too big and not too small, with a good jazz scene.

... hour flight, but it was probably the best flight I've ever had! Once we landed, it took forever to get through passport control, but once I was through I collected my bag almost immediately and made my way through to arrivals. I think I have now caught up with all my old friends(by that I mean long term not aged!)
Last week probably my oldest friend and her husband came for a few days(Stef and Angus). We had a wonderful time chatting as well as a day trip to Hereford to visit the cathedral. I even invited my old boyfriend,Bob, over to have lunch with us. We all used to hang out together ...

    ... decent to watch!

today I'm expecting my friend Stef and her husband Angus to arrive and stay for a while. I usually stay with them so it will be good to play host to them, although it means I will have to cook!!
So, the first few days get a big tick. There is a lot to do around the area and I hope to do a few walks as well as hop on buses and go wherever!

bye for now..... Sorry about typos!
