    Kathleen, she of the apricot cardigan, had dropped by VERY EARLY a couple of days before while I was out the back hanging out some washing, looking very much like a paid-up member of Group One, in daggy housework clothes, wet hair, and I have to admit, the odd curler-- to invite me to the meeting.

    A lovely summer day today so we decided to make the most of it. We drove to Bibury via Cirencester and parked near the church. This church has been in use for over a thousand years, the grounds are beautifully kept with lovely roses lining the path.     ... continent, we shall have to get used to it! On the way back to Westerleigh we saw a small sign saying "tree down" and soon came upon it, unfortunately it was down across the whole road so we had to back up this narrow road until we could turn, it would have helped if there had been a "find alternative route" sign.     ... baskets..mainly pansies and bulbs at this stage.It does look beautiful. " Oh to be in England now that Spring is here!"
    now, the task in hand is to clean out the fridge a bit and gather all my bits to repack the suitcase...hope it all fits!

    ... wellies with dogs in tow. Interesting produce..lots of Brussel sprouts and home made pies and cheeses.
    i found a supermarket that does home deliveries which saved me lugging too much up hill again

    the weather?? Well in a word...cold,as you would expect. But I have a warm jacket,scarf,gloves and hat and the house is warm...so all good!
