We heart San Diego
... based around arts and crafts. The park is bursting with museum and galleries but as were on a tight budget we only visited the free attractions, these are the Spanish Village, Botanical Building and lots of gardens. We are really impressed with Balboa Park, you could spend hours people watching...lots of eccentric folk with crazy dogs, we did see one French Bulldog wearing, trainers, jacket and sunglasses!!
