We made the journey to Southampton last night to ensure we arrived in good time and permit a leisurely start to our embarkation on the P&O cruise ship Oceana. Next Day after lunch Mike Led us Heathrow to drop off the hire car then catch our flight to Bangkok.
Overall we had 2 very good days. It was great to see Mike and Heather again.
Travelled to a campsite just outside Winchester yesterday.
The plan was to do the final section of the SDW today but just as we were about to set out, it started raining. We decided to sack that idea and have a cultural day in the Saxon capital of England, Winchester.
