    ... private rooms used sometimes by Royalty and for really special occasions, a very special afternoon, a once in a lifetime time treat. Chris had arranged to be at our meeting spot with the bus at 4 pm and we were taken back to the hotel for an evening of leisure.     ... up with the rest of the Needlework Tour. I was recognised as having been on a previous tour which was pretty amazing as the cruise had a very big group. This tour is capped at 25.     Southampton to the New West Shops and boy was it busy for a Friday - like the way the older high street joins in with the new shopping centre and the old markets are retained.

    Trip there and back were dogged by traffic tail backs at nearly all the roundabouts between Bognor and Southampton - and boy there are a few!

    ... we heard music playing. We were royally greeted by two “Beefeaters” and musicians from the London Philharmonic Orchestra! It turned out that the royal greeting wasn't just for us – it was the grand opening of the new Queen Elizabeth terminal at Heathrow.
