As usual I woke early as my body clock has not registered properly yet. Downstairs for a full English breakfast as Maureen advised, and then ready for the coach ride to the V and A to be there for opening at 10. We had an hour to look around for ourselves and I chose to look at a section on Chinese porcelain, clothing , furniture, and carvings amongst other things. At 11 we were met by our guide who was to show us round for the next hour and a half! What ...

The bus arrived and we we then had a short wk to the nearest underground to catch the next train to Gloucester Road Station. I was very glad that ...

A travel blog entry by blkconnor on Jul 12, 2014

We had breakfast before leaving the ship just after 10, sad to leave. The ship left for Barcelona later that day for a mediterranean cruise. We got the taxi to the car park and set off around 1100. The roads were much quieter. We didn't stop much and got home at 730 pm. Before unpacking we had another look for the missing currency but still couldn't find it. We will look in the bins tomorrow. Day ...

... rep, gave our big pieces of luggage to the porter and waited for the shuttle with other passengers. When they had enough for a busload we headed off to the port in Southampton. There were many, many passengers waiting to board the Ruby Princess, but our Platinum status allowed us to check in without waiting and board right away. We finally got onto the ship at about 3:30 PM. I was anxious to see our cabin. We booked ...
