We started our day with a wonderful breakfast, Gav's first plate of kippers which he enjoyed. We took a bus into York as we need to be kinder to our feet some days. We could not be given a seat number until boarding and I was worried we would be put in economy when I had paid for ...

Up and left later than we intended (8am) but didn't have too much trouble with the traffic once we got onto the M25 and M1. Called into Wakefield (Yorkshire) to pick up a 2nd hand head light Derek had brought to replace the one broken when Jamie was driving back from the music festival. Then on to visit cousin Mark on the other side of Wakefield. The satnav is wonderful for getting around these towns and makes it very easy. Had a lovely visit with ...
