    ... panels within the churches. These photos will keep for relatives.

    The rest of our trip will almost seem like an anti-climax, as we ended up achieving some of our aims. Anyway, we are off to Shrewsbury, of which we don’t know much, then Gloucester, to finish in London. Our trip is heading to a climax and we have experienced the emotional highs of visiting our ancestral homes.

    ... seen otherwise. There are some really nice areas…..and some not so nice. It was an interesting tour and we learnt a lot more about the Beatles than we knew before. The tour took a bit longer than it should because of the road closures and it was getting quite late by the time we got back to our car.

    Liverpool has a lot more to see than we have time for but we’ll be quite glad to get out of the city again when we head off ...

    ... as much. All our family and friends have offered great support and advice, along with a few gifts as well! I must say that our Mums have been brilliant in helping us plan our trip. We will be learning on a very steep gradient without them but I'm sure we will manage eventually!
