... able to take a few days each week to travel around, possibly even into France, and of course I could fly out and back and do city breaks if finance permits. But the six month adventure to Australia seems a long way away, as does a trip to Germany. As for random travel of the Twitter kind, that seems a lifetime away :(

Week 6 - Back to school...

A travel blog entry by jaspers_life on Nov 09, 2014

As you could probably guess from the title of this entry, I went back to school last week. *plays sad music* In less depressing news, how is it in Australia? Nice and sunny and warm? ... to head south to Bristol for the night. This run down the motorways is pretty straightforward, even through the Midlands round rush hour, and we're in the city soon after 6pm. Now come the first hurdle - everywhere in Bristol is booked. All the Travelodges, all the Premier Inns, even some of the independents. Either something major is happening, or Bristol has a serious dearth of hotel rooms. Eventually we use a combination of Laterooms and swearing ...

      Roman Bath

... themselves, they were not to leave the room during dinner. We walk back towards the city center and have lunch at a craft beer pub Chris found. The boys sit at an 1980's PAC Man game while we wait for our food. We ask them if they'd like to play the game, "No, we just like watching it." After lunch we attempt Bath Abbey, but the evensong is about to begin and unless you wish to attend, please refrain from entering. Let's have tea! Afternoon tea, to be exact. Adam ...
