    ... Back on the boat & struck off again. What a beautiful afternoon we had!! A bit of a queue at the two locks we had to do. We managed to make it to our final destination at bridge #19 Poachers Pocket Pub by 8:00 pm. Had a great supper & visited with a local couple. We'll stroll back to our boat & to bed by 10:00 pm.     ... croissant & Lemon curd. Headed off about 0945 hrs for our second day on the canal. Did our first manual lift bridge & first electrified lift bridge. Had lunch further along at the Willey Moor Lock tavern. Great Carrot & Coriander Soup & Cheese jacket potato. The 3 level staircase lock at Grindley Brook was another new experience with a lock keeper in attendance to make sure we didn't go wrong. ...

    ... of our Volvo we didn't notice. On arrival we missed the entrance and luckily we found a 3M factory just down the road with a very large car park, so Phil didn't need to do a 10 point turn! Although on arrival he did a perfect reverse into the pitch. We managed to get the electrics, fridge, cooler and loo working brilliantly and opened a well earned bottle of wine.
