... the tiller to me and went along the gunnel to fend us off the boat nearest to us. It became apparent to me very quickly that going forward was no longer an option so I put us in reverse and backed away into clear water where I put Charis in forward gear and got up a bit of speed which took us away from the line of boats and we managed to get past them without further hindrance. Day 8. After a morning spent fitting a cupboard door, with some difficulty, we drove back the lovely Spa town,Buxton. We called at the "Druids" to catch up on the news, water the plants and tap into the wifi. A trip to the supermarket was needed to stock up on supplies for the weekend. 9. Which reminds me, dorms are actually called Blocks. So if your invited to a "Block Party" is has a completely different meaning in England then it would in the states.
