    ... learned that the area of the labrynith was able to survive with no water. Wow!!!! Following this visit to the gardens we headed to manchester to see my sister, brother in law and niece and nephew. The GPS was great and took us on the country roads to avoid the traffic. We enjoyed a wonderful Shabbat dinner together and the kids are having fun playing and catching up. Now for a restful Shabbat Shabbat ...

    It`s the day before the long awaited trip to the USA. The packing is complete. Martin and Sheila are starting the holiday early as they have tickets for Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons at the NEC so Chris and Gill will meet them at the airport tomorrow to check in at 6.30am. Our flight departs at 9.00am for Newark where we have about 4 hours to kill before flying onto Las Vegas.

    ... about halfway to Greenhill. It had an awesome view which was enhanced by the sun shininng on the green hills of Wirksworth. Below us was the Babington House on Greenhill which was once used as a hospital. Twas a lovely walk. We feel truly connected to this town and feel at home here.     9. Which reminds me, dorms are actually called Blocks. So if your invited to a "Block Party" is has a completely different meaning in England then it would in the states.
